This year’s 2015 music lineup for Secret Seven Inch was announced on January 8, featuring The Rolling Stones, Diana Ross & The Supremes, Underworld, The Chemical Brothers, St Vincent, Peter Gabriel, and The Maccabees. Secret Seven Inch is an event that “combines music and art for a good cause,” according to their website. The organization presses these seven tracks on 700 different seven-inch vinyl records, and, “creatives from around the world,” are, “to interpret the tracks in their own style.” 700 sleeves with the tracks inside are decorated with prints produced by various artists who submit their designs, then the art is sold for £50 each at their annual show.

The profits from the exhibition are donated to a different charity every year. This year the Secret Seven Inch is giving to Nordoff Robbins, which aids children and adults with mental and physical disabilities. Through music therapy, beneficiaries from the Nordoff Robbins program overcome struggles resulting from depression, autism, dementia, and physical and learning disabilities. Nordoff Robbins also provides a Masters degree program in music therapy for those seeking to become music therapists. Previous charities Secret Seven Inch has supported include the Teenage Cancer Trust, Art Against Knives, and War Child.

Many individual artists design sleeves pro bono for the cause. Notable artists include Ai Weiwei, Gilbert and George, David Shrigley, Stanley Donwood, and Jake and Dinos Chapman. The Exhibition is held in London every year, and will be held at Somerset House this year. The vinyls will be on display from April 10-May 3, and will be sold on May 4.
